Roaring Lion Ranch & Retreat - History

Since 2016, our Founder Christina Yoc, had a vision to turn a 10-acre property, located in the Midwest, into a place that cultivates much more than just farm fresh produce from the land. She wanted to create a place where people can re-connect with nature, while learning how to get back to basics in a modern-day world. That is how Roaring Lion Ranch was born.

At RLR, we specialize in outdoor education and pride ourselves in cultivating produce using organic garden practices to create a variety of holistic botanicals & fresh garden produce and educational workshops for you to enjoy. Our goal is to help our community learn about regenerative farming & organic gardening practices while reconnecting with nature. We believe it is important for us as individuals to remember to set some time aside to enjoy the simpler things mother nature has to offer us.

Additionally, we are extremely passionate about animal rescue efforts & donate to a variety of animal rescues throughout our community.
